Case Studies
These case studies will demonstrate how we work, how we can be of benefit for your organization, and most importantly, you will be able to get an idea of the costs which will be involved.
Westpac
Problem
Westpac had several insurance and superannuation calculators written in Microsoft® Excel® VBA which it needed translated into a technology appropriate for the web. Westpac also had very strict accessibility requirements for sensorily impaired visitors.
Solution
We were brought in by BT Financial Group as a solutions provider to bridge a resourcing gap. The analysis had already arrived at a technology choice, and had front-end designs already completed.
We implemented five calculators in JavaScript and standard HTML 4.0 which met the W3C's WAI guidelines for accessibility.
Some of the calculators were presented as multi-page wizard style interfaces, and some with complex graphs demonstrating the results. This was all produced in cross-browser compliant JavaScript.

Marcoms
Problem
Marcoms required a new site to showcase their newly packaged solutions.
They needed e-commerce capability, and an ability to take both set package orders, and custom-order leads.
They also needed an authentication-based discount system for their products to offer their partners special pricing.
Most importantly, they wanted the ability to re-brand the same functionality and site to enable their partners to offer their services under a different brand.
Solution
Using well structured CSS and a clever technique for mapping domain names to style sheets, we were able to deliver a domain-name based rebranding for the entire site.
We combined this with an hierarchical catalogue of products with a backend CMS allowing the client to administer a number of key sections of the site, as well as their product catalogue.
